Ask around and you will hear the same story: the salon that used to take cats stopped, the next one never answers, and the vet only shaves under anesthesia. Cat grooming is quietly disappearing from northeast Queens. We think that is a shame, because a well groomed cat is a healthier, happier cat, especially the long haired beauties who cannot keep up with their own coats.
Our groomers handle cats regularly and gladly, always sedation free. Visits are planned for calm: extra time on the schedule, quiet handling, and breaks whenever your cat asks for one. Matted coats, seniors, first timers, and the famously opinionated are all welcome. We never sedate, and we never force
All grooming here is done awake, with patient handling and extra time built into every cat appointment. If a cat truly cannot be groomed safely without help, we will tell you honestly and encourage a conversation with your veterinarian about a calming plan, rather than force a bad day on anyone.
Every visit includes the works
The Cat Full Groom is $165 and includes the haircut plus the full spa treatment: warm bath, blow dry, brush out, nail trim, and ear cleaning. The Cat Spa Bath is $110 and includes everything but the haircut.
Matted coats are welcome
Matting is common in long haired cats and our groomers handle it regularly. Depending on severity there may be a de-matting charge, and for heavily matted coats a shave down is often the kindest option. Text us at (917) 920-5108 and we will advise before you book.
First timers do great
Most first timers do far better than their parents expect. We groom cats in a calm setting, away from the commotion, with slow and patient handling. Tell us it is a first visit when you book and we will plan extra time.
